I’m Nikos, a guitar instructor, transcriber, and a die-hard fan of '80s and '90s heavy metal.

I started playing electric guitar in the early '90s. Back then, learning these songs was a real struggle. We had to use tape recorders, rewind endlessly, and try to figure out the notes by ear. Let’s be honest—most guitar teachers at the time didn’t know how to teach (or even play) heavy metal!

Today, thanks to technology, we have access to incredible resources that simply didn’t exist in the era of cassettes and VHS tapes.

My mission is simple: I want to give new and experienced guitarists the tools I wish I had when I started. That’s why I created SongTutorial—to provide high-quality video tutorials, accurate tabs, Guitar Pro files, and backing tracks for the music we love.
